well 2009 has thus far started out to be the hardest and most stressfull year yet. I've probably cried more in the past 3wks than I have in 5months. Who knew that growing up really was so hard. anyways, thanks be to God that I have good roommates and a great bf to put up w/ my emotions in dealing with all of this and to be supportive, and not to mention my 18 second graders to fill me up with hugs everyday.  If only being an adult was as easy as riding a bike... oh wait, even at that we fall and get hurt. fuck.

Things to do when I'm home.....

*Spend time with my family, more than last year.

*Try to catch up w/ lots of old friends.

*Play in the snow.... snowman, snow angels, snow ball fights, sledding.

*Take lots of pictures in the snow.

*Miss my boyfriend a lot.

*Lights before Christmas at the Toledo Zoo.

*Sit at Maxwells and drink cafe and pretend that life never changed.

*Wear winter clothes, my pea coat, freeze my ass off, and love every minute of it.

*Drink with friends.

*Lesson plan for when i return.

*Miss real Mexican food and speaking Spanish.

*See Natalie.

*Realize how much different everything/everyone is.

*Drink with friends.

*Actually have New Years plans, and have them made at least 2days before the event.

*Live simply in the materialistic world of Toledo.

*Ice Skating.

*Work at Sunshine.

*Miss my children, and wish they could all celebrate Christmas with  me.

I havent posted here in quite a while. Not too many ppl read this thing anymore, idk why I still have it. I really only read peoples protected posts and regular posts every once in a while. I'm pretty much over xanga at the present moment. (altho, thats a lie since Im typing in here. ha)

I'm back in Florida and everything is wonderful.  My roommates are fantastic and I love this year more than the last.  Every weekend is a blast and our community is constantly growing.  Bad days come and go, as the children this year are as crazy as always.  My classes are adorable, the women are fantastic, and la lucha is rolling along. 

I've been not as good with keeping in contact with home. I realize that I must just talk to those who matter the most.  Its always bittersweet. I'm just not good with friends.  Distance is always a buzz killer.  I, however, am so thankful for the relationships I do have. 

I can feel the feelings of all and see the changing of the seasons only in  my dreams.  Its summer all year long in my book and never a dull moment. 

Relationships here are as latino, striving, and flourishing as always.  My Spanish is improving and my Sp. thinking is coming along.  I long for the day when my dreams are in Spanish...

I will be home in less than 2weeks- probably by the 27th.  I leave again to return back to Florida in September. 

I reaaally want to go to Puerto Rico and Guatemala. Does anyone have money to give to the poor volunteer fund?
